MBB: Echo Heron signs her new book: Noon At Tiffany's

Market Block Books welcomes Troy native Echo Heron for a book signing of her newest book Noon at Tiffany’s. In the summer of 1888, Clara Wolcott, a daring young artist from Ohio, walked into Louis Tiffany's Manhattan office to interview for a job as a designer. For the next 21 years, her pivotal role in his multimillion dollar empire remained one of Tiffany's most closely guarded secrets—a secret that when revealed 118 years later sent the international art world into a tailspin.

Basing her story on a recently discovered cache of letters written between 1888 and 1944, Heron artfully blends fact with fiction to draw the reader into the remarkable life of one of America's most prolific and extraordinary women artists: Clara Wolcott Driscoll, the hidden genius behind the iconic Tiffany lamps.

New York Times bestselling author Echo Heron has written nine books, including Intensive Care: The Story of a Nurse; Condition Critical; and Tending Lives: Nurses on the Medical Front. She is also the author of the medical novel, Mercy, and the Adele Monsarrat mystery series: Pulse; Panic; Paradox; andFatal Diagnosis. Her latest book, Noon at Tiffany’s, an historical, biographical novel, is based on fiveyears of research into the life of Clara Wolcott Driscoll, the actual creator-designer of the Tiffany lamps and many of the Tiffany windows.
